Looks cool, but will a production insure you with that setup? Maybe I am getting old, but I'd love to see you wearing a helmet while filming that way.

They have been insuring me for over 6 years of steadicam segway. Never an incident by the way!

I have been operating steadicam/segway for 6 years now with 80lbs 3D cameras. It's all about proper preparation, planning and rehearsals. Usually accidents happen in "live " events. Honestly it's just not a safe tool for those environments. As the many examples you can find on youtube will prove. For a scripted movie set? It's perfectly safe as long as you plan, coordinate and rehearse. Just like steadicam you pre-run your path. remove or adjust any obstructions or hazards etc. I have years of training and on set experience. Numerous commercials and feature films under my belt with these tools. but YES I should of had my helmet on. Bad example in that regard.

This is a specially modified large Segway not to be confused with a "hover board" those are dangerous.
