They Do cares a lots of companies don't want to go to 4K workflow - cause it is very expensive improvements. This is why they really standing for "2K is good enough and we like german camera". Familiar 8-bit workflow - more opportunity to do your job easy, less hassle and pretty relaxed )) And general audience is not really familiar with all these things. Funny fact - the only device I can clearly show superior quality from my RED is Retina MAC book pro on my DIT station (and barely my MAC PRO 27" display), any other monitors - they all just 1080

More like Steve Jobs was the Jim Jannard of consumer electronics... BTW - where in the hell is Jim's Academy Award??? Seriously? Who else deserves the Sci Tech award more than the entire RED team??????? They better get some recognition from the Academy - even a SMPTE award. Jeez.
