Looking for a cinematographer who can bring magic to the big screen. We are shooting a cross-cultural film called Charu, inspired by the works of Rabindranath Tagore. The story displays surreal moods to loneliness, sadness, love, and joy and will be shot at January in Toronto encompassing a Winter New York. This fusion of artistry and deep story telling requires a very talented Cinematographer to bring a unique palette to this film.
We plan to shot in January/ February in Toronto using the RED cam or any other 2K technologies, with high-end lenses. We have a small budget are looking for creative individual that can do more with less. We will shoot for 30 days and maybe a day in New York. Rates are negotiable but will be “fair” and worthy of your talent.
We understand the importance of an efficient and artful/ skillful cinematographer and you will be required to be an integral part of the story telling.
Please reply with your reel. REEL IS MOST IMPORTANT. Something using Red or digital technology would be better. Also state if you own your own equipment/ camera/ lenses. You need to be able to work in Toronto and provide for your own lodging. No VISA applicants please.
