  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Cinematic Wedding filmed on RED Scarlet-W

I really liked that. Very well shot. I prefer slow motion over real time. I think that real time video is too immediate and doesn't have the depth that slow motion does. In fact, photos are the ultimate 'slow motion' because they're static. Having said all that, I'm thinking of doing more slow motion instead of photography where I can. It's not just more interesting, but it does better on social media, FWIW.

I do have a few questions. Firstly, did you apply sharpening? If you didn't, well, your lenses were over-performing! I personally never sharpen anything, especially if there is a person in the shot. Just my 2 cents. Also, what caused the purple blooming in the early shots? The lens? And why were there two photographers? I can understand why you'd have two video shooters, though.

BTW the ideas jars at the reception are a very cool idea. It lets the guests put some creativity into the whole thing.
