I am selling a complete Cinedrive bundle that allows 5-axis movement under computer control (iPhone, iPad, Mac Laptop) using the kOS software (free download from Kessler Crane). The 5 axes are: 1) pan, 2) tilt, 3) slide (you would need a Dana Dolly or other slider - not included herein), 4) focus and 5) zoom.
The sale includes:
CineDrive bundle complete (CD2-bdlcomplete)
Cinedrive slider motor 200 series (CD1007)
Cinedrive Pan & Tilt head (50:1 pan, 50:1 tilt) (CD1046)
Shuttle Pod Motor Mount (MC1014)
DC0 camera cable (MC1018) for Nikon
Cinedrive D-tap adapter cable (CD1026)
Digital control center (MC1048)
There are two 110v power supplies.
This unit has been modified. The original Cinedrive camera mount plate is attached to the support rods with 1/4-20 screws. It is only the bending strength of these two little screws that restrains the plate from bending making the plate no longer perpendicular to the pan axis of rotation. This was not a problem with the weight of a DSLR but it was way too much deflection with the weight of a DSMC2 package. As such I had a plate custom machined that has the support rods pressed into the plate. This means the 1/4-20 bolts no longer are the means of restraint - they are just "there" but not doing anything significant. The result is the plate no longer has any significant deflection so a pan moves correctly and the horizon stays where it's supposed to. The original plate is in the box but I'd suggest ignoring it.
There is a extending handle roller case that holds all the gear.
All the necessary cables to do 5-axis work are included.
Kessler sells this package for $9900 plus taxes. I am asking $6500 for a quick sale. Purchaser is responsible for shipping.
