Speaking also for my LEDz associates, Karl and Malcolm, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the RED team for accepting our offer to provide with some LED-z units for the RED Booth, giving us the opportunity to showcase our fantastic products.

I have found my self spending the last three days at the RED Booth in NAB, setting up our LED-z fixtures, and had the great pleasure to interact directly with few of the RED team members in charge of this incredible task of getting the RED booth up and ready, WOW! What a task, tone of details from every point, and here Jim's choice of team members shines again.

Again a great pleasure saying halo to Jim, Ted, Graeme, Jarred, Brian, Chris and other members of the RED team, it is very clear to me now that working for RED, it is in deed not a JOB but a Lifestyle, as Brent pointed out, and it shows, it almost makes me wish I needed a JOB, I would have applied @ RED in no time!!!

Very jealous Ketch looks like a blast ... Have a great time ... Led-z looks very cool, break a leg with it at the convention ... I am sure it will be a smash hit!!!

DogDay

Yeah I know DogDay, I'm also jealous of my self:biggrin: and thanks, for the support in our product, it was a great pleasure been able to bring a deal with my associates from LEDz and give this community the exclusive discount offering to our product line.

Will say halo to Vegas for you.

Ciao

You will post more later, links etc so we can check out all specs etc about the Led-z, yes? Keep us posted...Now enjoy yourself & kiss at least one beautiful Vegas girl for me!

Ciao!

Looks great, I have presentation from 10am-1pm, so I won't be able to get to the Red booth until then.

Maybe by then security will have cleaned up the bodies from the gate rush @ 9am!

See you then Ketch.

Yes will definitely be editing the LEDz offering post on the OFF topics, with all the latest info and applications variations possible with our fixtures as well as specific time durations of each unit on the RED BRICK, which they work great, and now I'm so happy I did get the RED Bricks with my Cams, this batteries are not just sexy, they are light and well designed.

Kissing a Girl, it is for sure on my "TO DO" list, my problem is that I must be very choosy as every girl I ever kissed I ended up been wit for years.

Matt, I imagine the rush to be like no other year, and for this I will just delay my arrival a bit longer.

See you there.

Ciao

That looks great and I think will be a lot of fun. Thanks for posting the pics.

Also its great to put a face to the name! :)

Cheers
Coz

Hey Coz,

my pleasure, I was reluctant about posting my hugly face but then I got over it.

*Tonaci, my friend, miss you too, and wanted to go with to Vietnam, enjoyed seen the progress of your project there.

The LEDz fixtures take power from a D-Tap directly from the from the RED battery mount, the unit mounted in the pics is the BRUTE 6, and it gets over 5 HOURS out of one RED BRICK!!!

More cool stuff to come.

Ciao

Ketch.. if you can stand heat and humidity, here in Vietnam, you will love the fascinating sights here. How much for this Brute 6 badboy and also does it come with the top mount adaptor that I see being used to mount the brute?

by the way, just posted a Redmodz article to promote the Led-z. =)

Off course I can stand humidity in the name of visiting a beautiful country.

Thanks much for the ledz post on www.redmodz.com

The BRUTE 6 is a prototype specially designed for RED, so we will get pricing ASAP but as with the other LEDz products the 35% discount applies for all REDUSERS.

A D-Tap to battery plate is needed, the fixture comes with a 5/8 standard mount that can be put on to any C-Stand or 5/8 male, but it can be directly mounted without the arm mount, directly screwing the fixture frame in to the RED top mount via a double threaded screw type.

Will be testing out the different sources and mounts, as well as testing the various set ups and time of life duration with the RED brick.

Ciao

Thanks Ketch. You always post the best pics. Have fun....

EDIT: Oh yeah. I am definitely interested in getting some LEDz products eventually. Especially at a 35% discount. Is there an expiration date for the discount?

Thanks guys,

the LEDz for the on board lighting solution are few, and I'm about to present Karl (LEDz founder and engineer) with a new design exclusive to RED.

This fixture should be color matched to the RED camera design, in black and red, and will come as a complete set, to include mounting pins and various brackets, D-Tap cable and Softbox, and will still be offered at 35% discount to the RED community, pricing, final design and size of the unit to come soon after NAB.

***All I can tell you is that you are going to "LOVE" the "LEDz 4 RED" units***

Ciao

Ketch! Thank you for those pictures!! Most grateful. Its great to see good NAB shots of Epic, Scarlet and that very nice looking 18-85mm ON a RED ONE (I've been waiting to see what that looked like for a while).

Those LEDz look very interesting. I'm looking forward to hearing more about the LEDz 4 RED units.

Coz

Welcome Coz.

After getting the interest of Jim him self, I can promise you that my design of the special edition LEDz for RED will be nothing short of a fantastic.

ASAP as I return to California I'll be meeting with LEDz Founder and Engineer, Karl and finalized the design and accessories fitted on to RED #349, so that I can choose the colors to match the RED.

Just wait and see, I'll give every RED something to shine from.

Ciao

Certainly doesn't hurt getting the nod from Jim!

I'll certainly be interested in hearing more when you're ready to release the details. Are you able to say what the weight might roughly be?
