  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Includes Canon XL-H1-2 Series Lightweight support, but can be adapted to RED, XDCAM, etc.

Asking $1,700

Over $3,700 new. Will consider selling the Follow Focus separately.

This is a very rugged, popular and versatile 16x9 mattebox that fits a number of professional camcorders (Canon, Panasonic, Sony, JVC). This is a complete system with FF unit, top & side flags, optional vertical tray for grads, & center bracket with 15mm support rods. Mattebox can be easily adapted to different cameras and lenses & a swing away bracket is available.
System has had little use and is in like new condition.

Mainly a 19mm rod adapter and swing away adapter.

The swing away adapter mentioned in the ad is the DSW 400, Chrosziel product code 401-402.

The MB-450 series is for lightweight 15mm. The rods are centered on the Red body. The ET/Arri 15mm base plate rods are offset and spaced wider, so it wouldn't work with the Chrosziel. You can either use a Zacutto base plate or the ET Ultralight for mounting the Mattebox as well.
 
Sergio. unfortunatly there is not a 19mm solution for this mattebox, it is a fixed 15mm lightweight. Element technica offers a lightweight adapter that we have used to mount this follow focus and mattebox on our RED and it was a GREAT lightweight solution.

Sure about that? I don´t think so, Chrosziel makes a 15mm LW-19mm studio quick adapter as good as Arri´s one... I´ve got two of them. It´s part nº 401-10 Q, try to check it.

Actually, you have several options for a 15mm LW-19mm adaptor, from Arri, Chrosziel (the model I told you about, similar to Arri´s, and a cheaper version not "quick"), from Abel, I think Zacuto sells another one...

If you sell the FF separate, I would possibly be interested in the matte box.
