  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Okay...makes sense now why there was so many people on set. Sure, for an A-lister they want the best crew and biggest to accommodate the talent. Understandable, I didn't know they all got paid for I thought was a PSA. I thought everyone involved was doing it pro-bona. Sorry, my mistake.

Still, I thought it was well done. The swing chair would of been nice...but I think the point was still established by her voice and her child.

please take this as a discussion ...
it's the cost, not the size of the crew !!!
from my experince they will have the same size crew in Prague .. Producers go outside of LA because of the bottom line $$ "COST" not crew size ... labor in Prague is cheap compared to US labor ....
in US many states offer rebates , free police, free city/state locations = cost less to shoot then in LA ... but then it cost more for crew persons to live in LA , SF , NYC then Atlanta so those area's have higher labor cost ..
ad agency's want top directors & DP's, combine that with A list talent ..they hire the DP because they like what's on their reel... the DP must deliver .. the DP might think he can deliver the "look" using natural daylight but there is NO way they will show up without 10 ton lighting/grip trucks & full crew as the DP must cover themselves just in case the great natural daylight isn't there when they show up and they have to create it ... there are always last minute changes on shoots & every dept must be able to change with a moments notice ...
