  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Checking in...

I think that surrounding yourself with insanely talented people is only half of the magic that people recognise in Red.

The other is the future that each of us dream - and how this would not have been possible without you.

Good to hear Jim!!

And yeah... I figure Jarred was that kinda of guy... Love him!!

Truly looking forward to Weapon 8K and what is in store to come... Yet still incredibly happy with Dragon M8 as I depart with it for a Movie in the Mauritius Islands... And we'll surely shoot some personal fantastic stuff during free time in the next few months there... RED rocks... See you again soon my friend... :)

WE LOVE YOU JIM.

Just checking in....

Jarred is amazing. He is the most talented person I have ever worked with.

We have so much amazing stuff coming that it is hard to comprehend.

I just want you all to know that I am still here. I still care. I still work closely with Jarred every day... just behind the scenes.

I appreciate everyone's support for our program. Truly we have had you 1st in our minds.

Get ready for some incredible new stuff. Everything changes. We hope that you remember that we lead the way... we did and we will going forward.

My best to all.

Jim

My favorite post ever.

love to see Jim make an appearance - give a heads up - and look forward to the next round of 'amazing/incredible new stuff' announcements!

Will this start at IBC next month?

Well lots of erm... love for Jim but I'd like to further back up what Jim is saying that Jarrred Land is doing a great job!

It's not the easiest job in the world dealing with all you guys I'm sure but he seems to be an expert in staying chill!

A big thumbs up to Jarred Land from here.

Damn, Jim…it's good to hear from you! Jarred rocks the house…and so do you…can't wait to see what you guys have been brewing up...

I predict a 12K 65mm Weapon at NAB 2016.

And new sensor tease (ie for 2017).

And also...an Aluminum Weapon for the Scarlet crowd!!!

Love how far you guys push the envelope. So fun to watch.

Great hearing from you Jim, can't wait to see what you guys have in store for us.

Years ago I asked you Jim if you had a succession plan in place in the event something unforeseen happened or even an eventual retirement on your part. You didn't answer at the time but apparently you had a plan and a very good one at that... co-responsibility with Jarred.

I guess it has always been true, but it seems we live in still more uncertain times, for the time being. I trust that there is a plan that carries RED Digital Cinema far into the future. That's how long I expect to continue to use it.

Thanks, it's always great to read your words Jim. And i can't agree more, Jarred is doing a great job (as everyone from team RED).

Can't wait to see what the future brings.
