Seems the same to me, no ? Except the lack of Pan/tilt head and the aluminium case but I prefer that. Only $1100... (But certainly not free shipping to France).

Yes. Some of them didn't necessarily need to be, but I would run it through Warp Stabilizer just to be safe.

This seems like an awesome system. I am interested in how the Proaim 22ft jib would stack up against this one? Did you end up trying out the Proaim 22 footer? I'm a bit interested in that one but can't seem to find anyone, anywhere who has tried it and will give an objective review. Did find someone selling the 16ft version on CL and they said they liked it but I always find that kind of review hard to trust.
I got in touch with Proaim and asked if they had any here with a dealer or as a demo unit and their response was 'no'. Useless.
Anyway, I can guess at what the weak points would be on it and prepare to get around those, but it's the telescopic arm that interests me most. Not sure I'm willing to guinea pig it though.
If anyone has tried their KITE jibs out I'd love to hear about it!
