CHE Spanish Trailer in Low Res

I recently re-watched some of SS's other films, most notably - Traffic.

I can't understand all the complaints about blown highlights in Che, given that this is obviously a part the man's style, not a technical problem\limitation of the camera.

I hope we get to see Che in theaters soon.

in my own, there's a word for that: i g n o r a n c e

He does know what he's doing and chooses to do so for his own reasons. He's an extremely smart guy.

Yeah, there's no doubt the guy chooses his styles of shooting for a variety of reasons. I was just watching Ocean's 13 and noticed a lot natural light, grainy, blown highlights etc. stuff and then I read reviews of the Blu-Ray where people were complaining about the image. Thank god this was shot on film and not RED 'cause everyone would be blaming the camera. Cleary the guy has a style he likes.

that was my first thought when i saw oceans13 in theater ...
soderbergh filmed this like an independent movie, i liked it, very realistic grainy images mixed with the stuff of glamour shots. it gave the story a documentary style and supported the characters and story.
i didn´t see CHE, but i know what to expect.
