  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Chat with Ted and his EPIC here in Vegas...

Holy crap, it's WAY smaller than I thought it would be! This is going to change everything man! Did you see how easily Ted waves it around in his hand?!

I'm speechless.

gotta love how technology progresses like this. just like now a netbook these days packs the same amount or more power as a full desk top over a decade ago...

Awesome. The sound wasn't a major problem - I caught every one of Ted's words.

I am guessing Ted's config is less than 10 lbs. Could be as low as 6-7 lbs with a light prime. Incredible!

Bring on Part II!

he did claim he travels with a r1 package everywhere putting it up on overheads on planes all the time. All that lifting has bound to get you buff sooner or later.

Can you imagine though, an Epic kit in your carry on bag?

I can't wait.

66% uploaded of Part I.

Part II goes into the ability of shooting your motion and while shooting, you can click the "virtual shutter" and maybe click that 50 times throughout 30 minutes of shooting.

Then, you go back and look at the metadata that has been tagged. Instead of you being forced to take the right shot at the right second, you just know that somewhere within say 10 seconds of that virtual shutter click you have a great still photo that can be processed using the same RAW abilities the motion brings.

Great feature for the stills crowd!!

Thanks for the pics and the video. Every picture makes the epic look more and more impressive.

Due to a number of requests, we have decided to offer the video in spite of the intermittent interference in the audio. If you don't like the video, you don't have to tell me that it stinks. I'm actually not uploading it for you...only the ones who wanted to see it in spite of it's flaws. :) http://vimeo.com/10921200 is the link, and as I type this it still has a few minutes left to encode. Hopefully everything loads properly...if not, I will fix it in about 6 hours. In the meantime, I am taking a nap... :) Enjoy!

Thanks for the pics & the video
