Changing Raw settings in projects

I want to change raw settings on a clip in one project but not have it effect the clip in another project..IE same library, possible?

Yeah. If you're using premiere, duplicate the clip in the project bin so that there are two instances of it.

Don't know FCP that well but you could use redcine x to save a different version of the r3d as well.

Hey Steve ! Yes save a duplicate .r3d from cine x and just drop the newly named raw file into fcp. I believe that would accomplish your goal?

Actually even thinking outloud... duplicate the .r3d file right in the folder and just give it a different name? Never tried that but seems like theory would work as a separate clip?

duplicate and new name inside fcpx could be a work around for sure. basically my work flow is that I edit a full wedding film, then pull some of the clips from it to use in the trailer, although I have done a good job separating 95% by using different cameras for different jobs, I still like to hand held the red on the dance floor so that footage serves double duty, but it also needs to be graded different ect

also I will be in FL in August, might need to hunt down the 80' viking lol
