I'm very sorry if this has been addressed, but I have just spent the last several hours trying to find an answer.

I'm planning on editing my footage using the Quicktime wrappers in FCP. However, they are currently set to REC709 LUT and they need to be set to REDspace. When I change everything in REDAlert and generate new wrappers, the LUT change is ignored (though the exposure, color, etc is changed). If I generate a QT mov from RedRushes using the RSX file created, it correctly changes the LUT (or I guess bakes it in, if there is a difference).

Is there any way to change the LUT of a wrapper?

Nope, These are not carried over when you re-make the QT proxies

Neither are curves.

Thats one of the reasons why if we are on a tight deadline and I need to edit with proxies asap we shoot redspace.

yeah, i didn't realize it wasn't shot in redspace until later (i'm not the DP). looks like i'll need to learn to workflow for sending to Color when i'm done?

Do yourself a favor, while waiting for the next Reducation ( a must attend workshop, Im here now)

Find someone with a RED Rocket™ and transcode to Prores and enjoy your post workflow... proxie workflow is so 2009. :)

Color will thank you later :)

oh and NOTHING is ever BAKED in RED R3D, its a digital cinema camera, not a video camera. All looks are NON-Destructive
and don't affect the R3D. Only ther proxies and you can make new ones instantly in Clipfinder. DOnt have that?
its free, (but make a donation because its so worth it)

cheers!
