CF formatting fails in 15

I know others have had this problem, but I cannot find a solution that works. In 15 v 2.1.7 one of my 4 Red CF cards will not format. When I insert the card the camera says that the card has not been speed verified and cannot be recorded on. When I try to reformat the card, it says that formatting failed because the mag is not fast enough for current project, but even when I set to 2K 24fps Recode 28 I still get this.

I rebooted back to build 13. The card formatted fine. I returned to 15 and same story too slow. My three other cards work fine. Any ideas?

Same problem here, except I did not use the original RED CF cards and blamed the other brands for it...
