CF Card Issues - HELP!!

We have a 16GB CF card that has a strange issue. Whilst the RED can see the clips on it and write to it fine, it won't mount on the Mac (10.5). Software-wise everything seems upto date, tried several card readers and several macs. Other CF cards seem fine (8GB), but 1 one particular 16GB seems dodgy.

Anyone else has similar issues or have any suggestions???

Disk Utility sees the 'drive' but no volume or partition info seems valid, so I can't do a 'repair' or 'mount'.

Please help, don't want to loose out precious RED footage!!

P.S>Can anyone think of a way to transfer the footage via the camera, seeing as the camera thinks it's still ok???

Try a PC recovery tool. We have recovered a CF 8GB using File Scavenger.
Play down may be hit and miss with B17 but if you can, the cheapest option would be the Sony EX-30 deck. You will record the surround view border and the Red 709/Redspace will be different to what you would see in Red Alert. I'm not sure how far you could push the Sony codec in a grade to match what you have previously shot. But it is an option.

Can you talk to support about the card? If you can see it on the camera then we can look at recovering it. It most likely sounds like the filesystem was compromised which caan happen with pulling the card from computer or camera without ejecting (or losing power instead of pulling).
