CASE STUDY: EPIC PROVES BULLET PROOF IN ONE EXTREME TEST FOR NAT GEO TV

[C.H.Haskell]

Thanks for sharing Dino, how you managed this shoot is beyond me but well done!

[Raphael Varandas]

Thanks Dino...
Keep rocking.

That's pretty awesome. We shot with an epic when it was still in the testing phase for Abercrombie and rolled continuously all day. We put it through the ringer and it held up great, every now and then it did freeze but not while the camera was rolling. I thought we shot a lot but you guys killed it, it's a beautiful camera and I look forward to making it look even better. Only problem was how reflective the monitor was, almost a mirror. I guess that's the protective layer being that it's a touch screen. The red team came along and helped us out, just a wonderful team.

Fantastic project, looking forward to the end result!

[Brian Iannone]

Well, now I understand why you described the project as secret. Anything having to do with James Cameron has to be kept quiet.
