Cartoni Focus DV vs Focus HD

Does anyone have experience with both these heads?

Other than the HD being rated for 25lbs while the DV is 22lbs, the specs appear identical. However they appear to be a very different design and 50% more expensive is a lot for 3 extra pounds. There must be other differences?

I have the DV and have been using it with my RED for quite some time. It's pretty much at the limit (cam, batteries, grip, monitor, lens, matte box, FF, drive weigh 21.5 pounds) and many here would consider it woefully small for this cam, but I like it. Has a great infinite counterbalance, side load dovetail top mount, lighted spirit level, smooth action. Ergonomics are superb. I modified the dovetail so that it accepts Manfrotto dovetail plates so I can use their receivers on my remote head, pogo cam, car mount, etc.

The HD looks brand new and I don't know much about it. Seems to be beefier? Maybe B and H has it on display - if not they have a 7 day return policy, I think, so you could order both heads and return the one you don't like, but I would confirm that first!
