Found it in a small town way out in the Rocky Mountains. Haven't made the owner a pitch yet, but like the Stratocaster in Wayne's World, I keep sayin' to myself "Oh yes, you will be mine!"

The 2001 Xterra 4x4 and my mountain bike with trailer are my normal rides. Next up for me shortly - a 3/4 ton turbodiesel 4x4 pickup - probably Ford or Dodge.

Well, Gibby, I wouldn't have put it past you to have something so unique and purpose-built.

On my end:

2001 VW Jetta Wagon. 2.0 4cyl 5-speed manual.

Not all the power in the world, but I can fit a hell of a lot of camera gear in here and still have space for an AC or two.

It's also tremendously adept at fitting into tight parking spaces in and around NYC. If only it was a TDI...

This is my ride.
Pros: Holds lots of stuff, 5,000 gallon tank for those long trips, chicks dig it
Cons: Takes up more than one parking spot, 1mph top speed (loaded)
