Yesterday the film Privacy Matters was released in the Netherlands on FIFI2008.

It is a fusion documentary between live action and animation, all live action shot in green screen, on RED.

Unfortunately the 9 minute film is in Dutch, but very soon a subtitled version will become available.

We have worked for 2 months very intensely on this project, pushing our limits on what we can do with live action/3d.

The RED was very useful for the technique we used, shooting 4K with a very wide lens, moving the camera in 3d, tracking the greenscreen in 3d and projecting the 4k footage in 3d on plates. This way you can produce almost all camera motion in post, zooming in further and using the 4k resolution to not loose anything in the final output, which was 720p.

The film is highlighting the erosion of our privacy rights in our modern “always on” electronic world.

free to watch, download, forward, embed, link, spread, seed and leak.

Hope you enjoy :)

Nice Work!

Nice Work!

That's some pretty clean work I must say, very well done, amazing post production and animation and the concept is cool and very well realized. Congratulations to all who were involved!

Can't wait to see the subtitled version. Very timely film.

Thanx guys!

Great to hear you guys like it; we put our heart and soul into this one.

Still sorry for no subs being available yet. Will post as soon as they're there.
