  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Photography and movie making has gone a long way... Thanks to all people who have devoted their lives to make it what it is today... the advancement and all... Hats off!

A close friend of mine has been diagnosed of depression for many years... has attempted suicide a number of times... I really haven't seen him happy, not until he discovered his passion for photography...

Photography has given him a new life, and if not for photography, we could have lost him long ago. Now, he is happy, contently sharing his craft in the society, giving talks and seminars.

Photography to him is more than capturing images... it's capturing lives and creating hopes!

I've been working in an office for years, and those are the most boring years for me. I had so much struggle in me before I decided to quit the corporate world to venture into photography. I know it's hard to build a new career when you have aged, but I know I have to do it at that time for myself and not for money. Now, I'm happier. I may not have much money but I feel fulfilled in my career.
 
That's nice to hear. It is really a risk to leave your bread and butter to pursue your passion. But time will come when you will really tell yourself, "it's not about the money."

You're absolutely right. Things were never easy that I almost gave up, but I'm glad I didn't. Now my camera is not just my best friend and companion in my travels and companion, but my provider.
 
When one feels bored, became hopeless about life, depression creeps in. This is what my friend experienced for years. He was just glad to discover ReGain online counseling which opens his mind to the possibility of enjoying life by doing what he is passionate about.
