Capitalism 101

It is clear that Mr. Blackstone was supporting Jim (and, by extension, the precepts of capitalism) in his post above.

I thought Mr. Blackstone tried to communicate that Jim should rather build, roads, railways, schools and other infrastructure, instead of concentrating on making cameras? At least it seemed like Mr. Blackstone took offence with a government coordinating such efforts, I guess he is right, roads built like a collective is almost Stalinism. Each home and business should do their own road-work. Much more efficient and not socialistic. And everybody could stand on their own piece of road screaming: I built it!

Would a moderator with some common sense please shut this down now? There are those among us who cannot or will not grasp simple economics, facetious humor or the simple fact that some people actually can and do build things without governmental help.
