Can't Update RedMote

Good day . Want to update my RedMote to 2.0.9 .
After updating from mac , RedMote starting progress bar , and stuck after 7 green cubes .
Any ideas ?

Try turning off your wireless airport internet connection. If on a Mac.

how long did you wait? When I updated mine to 2.0.9 I had 7 bars then it rebooted and was installed.

Wireless solution , dose not help .

I had some issues updating the firmware when I realized the camera was on in the other room doing a black shade and they were still connected. If your update was in progress that might not be the case, but make sure the camera is powered down

Same thing is here ,after 7 bar the redmote just look like freeze , i waiting about half hour....still....freeze... any idea?

Hi Vigen, i dont know what i did, i try to shutdown my redmote , but it seems cant work ,so i treid use #3 (Set up)--->Setup System--->Auto Shuntdown ---> set it to 1min,after 1 min the redmote was shuntdown, then redmote work it again !!!!

If you can't shutdown the REDmote you can do a hard reset by holding the power slider down for a few seconds.

I could not get remote to connect via mac, or more accurately in network connections I could get it to connect 192.168.0.1 and it stuck, but updater would not connect to it. I turned wireless off on computer and rebooted, tried several other things, no joy. gave up, walked over to my olde windows machine, and it all went smoothly and got the update installed. not sure what was causing my issue.

I, too, seem to be having the same issues, as others. Starts to upgrade, then stalls, after about 8 green bars.
Had to do a hard re-start, then tried, again and same issue. Anyone know how long the update should take?

**Update**After no luck, on the Mac, went to my PC back-up and upgrade went perfect.
