Hi,
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Everytime I do, the slate is off by at least 5 frames, sometimes more. I'm assuming that the procedure to jam-sync this slate is exactly the same to jam-syncing another camera. Please advise what's wrong with my procedure:
1. Set camera TC to output
2. Set slate to same timebase and slave timecode
3. Connect cable from camera to slate
4. Turn slate on
At this point, usually I can see the timecode is very close to each other visually although honestly who can tell at the speed the frames are running at. When I do a take and then check the timecode, the slate timecode is not the same as the timecode on the footage.
Also, I'm assuming that if this happens between camera and slate, this non-sync "sync" will happen between camera and camera. Anybody?
