Sorry guys if this has been answered before, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
I've never used L&T for Red files, but I've used it for P2 a bunch of times. I've always exported ProRes files from RedCine for my Red workflow. But with the new suite I decided to give it a go.
I downloaded the L&T plug-in and QT codec from Red, and I now get the Red L&T info (sepia, as shot, etc) to show up in the pull down menu of the L&T window, which should indicate that it installed. I clicked 'native' under the preferences, but when I go back to 'custom path' to bring in the files, they are all grayed out.
The other catch is that I thought the new QT codec was supposed to be able to play R3D files, but when I try to open one with QT, it freezes up (it's QT 7.6.2). I don't know it that is part of the issue.
What am i doing wrong? I'm thinking it's something dumb.
