Can't find XML file when exporting from timeline

Hi,

I'm trying to do a roundtrip from FCP7 to Redcine X and back to FCP7. I realize it's outdated software, but unfortunately this is an older project that was cut in FCP7. These are the steps I've taken and where I'm running into problems.

* Edited prores transcodes in FCP7 generated from original R3D files.
* Exported XML file
* Imported XML into RCX and relinked to R3D files.
* Exported Timeline (separated clips) as 4k Prores files with handles, and I check the Generate FCP XML in the Prores Setup options.

Here is where I run into the issue. All the clips are exported just fine, but there's no XML file. It's not in the export folder with the new clips or the project folder.
I'm assuming this XML file would allow me to import the timeline back into FCP7 with newly generated clips, unfortunately I can't find it anywhere.

Any suggestions? Or is this not the way to get the timeline back in to FCP7 with subclips?

Thanks!

Your attached image is too small to read.

Sorry about that. I just updated the original post with cleaner image. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Its worked in the past for me but I was using an imported XML from FCPX/PPro.

I dont have an FCP XML to test with (no FCP at this studio).

I can try this week-end when I get into an FCP Workstation.

I even tried selecting all the XML options on export, but none of them show up in the export bin. It's like the file isn't being created or is being put somewhere I can't find. Where does it normally export the XML files?

I can select the timeline and export just an XML file alone, but it's pointing to all the R3D files. I need an XML that points to the newly rendered "subclips" with handles, but when I try to select that option while rendering/exporting the timeline as prores, nothing shows up.

Very frustrating.
