Can't copy R3D locally

Hi guys,
I received a spot shot on RED ONE. The files are on a firewire drive. Six R3D files won't copy to my RAID. They give me this error code -36 error. Any clue on what this could be?

Une erreur -36 signifie habituellement une erreur d'IO...

oui, j'ai essayé sur 2 MacPro et un MBP (le mien) et même résultat. Je suis à utilisé RedRushes pour faire des QT ProRes pour le Offline à partir du disque FW client. Ils m'envoient leur disque backup au cas.

Je vais essayer aussi avec le nouveau log n transfer pout bypasser le FINDER.

That won't help either, I'm afraid. Get Disk Warrior and check that drive (and good luck).

6 of the files on the source drive won't copy and they are getting a -36 error which indicates either am I/O problem or a disk problem. They have tried on different Macs. They are getting the backup drive from the production.

Michael, what are you doing up so early on the boards?

Yes, sorry for the French, got carried away with the "kindred spirit" thing. Mathieu's a friend of mine, TD at Bureau de Post here in Montreal, which literally translates to Post Office. It's fun to get the blank stares when you say you're an Avid editor at the Post Office.

Mathieu, do you have DiskWarrrior at B de P?

Did you get your client's original drive?
