Here it is folks :

As previously reported, Canon will be announcing a Cinema EOS camera with an RF mount, likely in late August ahead of when IBC is usually held.

Canon RF mount Cinema EOS camera rumored Specifications:

Same Super35 sensor as the Canon Cinema EOS C200
Internal ND filters (mechanical) up to 6 stops
2x Mini XLR inputs
Full-size HDMI
4K 4:2:2 10bit in ALL-I and IPB up to 120p
1x CFexpress Type B Slot
2x SD UHS-II slots
External RAW recording options up to 4K 120P
2x LP-E6NH batteries
Camera size smaller than the EOS-1D X Mark III
Price: $4499 USD

Here's hoping the rumours are wrong, and it's essentially just an "R5C" Cinema EOS version of the R5 that doesn't overheat.

Canon rumors says there are a few cameras.
One like the c200 but 8bit no raw, and one like the c300 422 external raw. Who knows tho for sure, I can't believe canon would risk the sales of their new flagship cine cams.

The EF to RF focal reducer sounds interesting . Very nice on the Komodo super 35 to full frame vista .

Key here is not R3D or any form of internal raw recording with quality, and "external raw recording". So here we go with the films HDMI connections and troubleshooting of using third party solutions to what should be done in camera.

Canon's 10 bit 4:2:2 codec is pretty robust. Most Canon shooters would probably just use that. The universal complaint about the C200 was it did not have the Canon 10bit internal video codecs.

Looks like the rear mounted LCD display tilts up, but for this cubic form factor that is probably the worst location for it.

Or the best. You put a loupe on it , handle underneath and voila, Bolex form factor. Try that with the (postage stamp size)LCD on top ....

I prefer an EVF mounted close to the balance point. Bolex 16mm style worked well with small primes, but was tiring with larger zooms.
This rig is very comfortable to carry for hours, as I have done shooting street festivals. Angenieux 12-120 HEC with series 9 shade and filter holder. All up weight right at 8lbs.

That's interesting. how do you hold the handle with the vf so far forward and to the side? Looks pretty awkward....

Hold it across the body Weaver pistol stance style, one hand for the camera, one for the lens, four point stabilization with elbows and monopod tucked against the body. Weight supported by skeletal structure rather than muscle tension. Movement from the hips and waist. I have thought about adding a parade flag harness to have a pocket at waist level for the monopod foot.
