I work at the local ABC station down here and there is an entire semitruck trailer full of old and broken broadcast equipment. I have access to it all and found a old canon lens in amazing condition. I guess my question is would this possibly work on a Scarlet with the right mount? It is kind of hard to tell the specs of the lens but here is a link to the exact one

Sorry for the bad picture, for some reason my iSight will not work on my iMac while booted in Windows 7 :/

The labels on the lens are as follows:
Canon Macro TV Zoom Lens VCL-713BX
YH13X7.5 7.5-97.5mm 1:1.4

I have no idea if this will work but like I said I have access many of them for free!

It looks like it's a B4 mount lens, but a standard definition one. You can (according to the Scarlet FAQs) get a B4 mount for scarlet, and likely connect the cable for run/stop and power for the servo zoom.

However, as it looks like an SD lens, it will probably produce slightly soft images on a 3K format.

It is an SD lens, I wonder how it would look?

I think that is a 1/2" format lens. For Canon it should have a YJ prefix for 2/3" lens.

That's 1/2" lens from the Sony DXC-325, DXC-327, very old stuff, from early 90's.

I also just found Fujinon-TV zoom lens,
A18x8.5FERM-11c
lynx 2, A18x8.5 Ferm-11c,
1:1.7/8.5-153mm

This thing is in amazing condition!
Hopefully it could work as well.

That should be a better lens and also for 2/3"
