Is anyone renting their Canon mount or know of any rental houses in LA that rent them? I am asking as a backup in case my Canon mount does not arrive according to Red's estimates for backorder delivery.

Digital Film Studios Off the 5 freeway just two minutes north of Burbank has One. Call 818.771.0019 ask for Danny. They are pretty busy today as I called to place an order for something i'm shooting with some gear I have consigned there plus some other stuff, but if you call tomorrow morning after 9am you should have no trouble making a reservation.

I need something a little more local to LA.

I saw one at Radiant Images near Baldwin Hills last time I was there. Don't know whether they'll send it not attached to an Epic, but they're very accommodating.

Uh, seriously? That is in LA.
818 area code.
Off 5 freeway. Parallel with TCH or Birns and Sawyer...
Literally 2 miles north of Burbank central.
Best of luck.
Sorry I was thinking Sun Valley, Idaho.
