Canon mount for Epic

[Antony M]

I'm confused.

I'm sure a couple of months ago I saw a post from the Red Team showing images taken on the Epic using the Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 lens.

But the (draft) Epic operation guide says the mount is for Canon FD.

Can anyone from Red state one way or another whether a mount for Canon EF lens will be available?

Thanks,
Antony

There is definitely a EOS EF Canon mount with full electronics control, almost ready, and it includes of course the image Stabilization feature.

Multiplier factor with FF lens ?

A mount has no multiplier factor. If you want to compare angles of view ieth various sensors, go here: Field of View Comparator

Could be a typo in the manual. Have you posted it in the ops guide thread?

[Steve Murray]

Typo for sure. They have stated several times that the Canon EF and Nikon mounts would be shipping with the Epic cameras.

Thanks. That's a relief to hear.
