Canon Motion Mount/Helium Compatibility Issues?

Has anyone experienced problems using the Canon Motion Mount on the Weapon Helium or Epic-W? I saw a post a few weeks ago about the mount causing color cast issues but I'm wondering if that was an isolated incident. My Weapon Helium arrives next week and I'd love to get the motion mount but I'm apprehensive.

I had some initial problems, but after taking off and re-installing all of the various modules and mounts, the motion mount is now working as usual.

Has anyone tested it to see if there is a quality loss at all? Finally got mine back so curious to know how it works on weapon/8K

I miss my motion mount. Sold it when I put the deposit down on VV.

Are you able to use the MM at 180 degrees for soft/hard global shutter at full 8K resolution? Or just for ND? I had really only ever used for ND myself, but would like to use as a global shutter

Works perfectly as a global shutter on soft or square on Epic-W. I tried whip pans with a 1200mm lens on it and lines stayed perfectly vertical.

I only saw image quality start to diminish when I used the MM above 4 or 5 stops. This was on my Weapon... And then it only to my eyes affected the boken. But Knowing this it is pretty easy to change things before they get out of line to much.

It should work. Motion mount works flawlessly with my Epic-W.
