Canon FD Lenses & Matte Box/Follow Focus on Dragon

So since upgrading to the Dragon I have noticed I have to make a choice of either using my Tilta Follow Focus or the matte box. It seems since the larger front fan sticks out further I can't get my FF closer to the camera body to be able to slide the matte box back far enough.

Does anyone have any solutions such as an extension tube? or a thinner Follow Focus option? (I am waiting on the Tilta FIZ before I go wireless)
