  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Canon EF 24mm f-1.4L Footage

Very moody and nicely shot!

Any idea on why the field lights are creating the green colored flare artifact around 1:20 in?

I'm not sure what this is. I tried to search around google and couldn't really find anything.

From the white papers... "with dramatic improvements to image quality provided by a total optical re-design and the application of Canon’s exclusive Subwavelength Structure Coating (SWC) to the inside surface of the large front lens element. This special coating is designed to minimize ghosting and flare, especially from extreme off-angle light rays. It combines with traditional Super Spectra multi-coating, to give the lens unprecedented resistance to internal reflections and flare."

I'm sure when filming stadium lights, there is no way around a flare, :)

I was using the variable ND filter... But not sure why it's green. I do kind of like the effect.

Making me want to upgrade to Epice. Also would love to pick up that lens as well. Thanks for posting.

Your welcome... some day I'll try and do a test with this and the Arri / Zeiss 24mm Ultra Prime. Waiting for the right job.
