Canon Control Ring adapter

Just noticed that in the menu is an item "Control Ring Adapter" but mine is greyed out - is this just in the menu for future use and not enabled yet?

Yes. I have it but it's greyed out. Using it with a Canon EF 400mm f2.8 IS mki.

I've just been informed that it is for the control ring on RF lenses rather than via the EF adapter. Hopefully they'll get the adapter working before too long - would make a massive difference for changing aperture on EF lenses.
