  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey guys,


My name is Alex Wagner and I'm a New York City-local owner/operator of a Canon C300 EF-mount package.


The package includes:

Canon C300 Camera Body
Canon C300 Monitor with Hood
3 Camera Batteries
3 32gb CF cards(246 minutes of recording time total)
AC Power Adaptor
CF Card Reader
Top Handle

The package rents for $400/day or $1200/week.

Wow seriously? Posting a Canon for rent on a red camera forum?


Selling it - sure - but I think this thread has got to be a joke right?

I see people offering 5Ds for rental all the time on reduser - why not a C300?

This is a jobs and for sale section - the rental section is for red owners and I've never seen a 5d for rent on here only for sale
I'm not offended but Red might be was my point - good luck
 
I'd argue that part of "jobs" is equipment hire and I see all manner of non-RED equipment for rental posts in "Jobs/Equipment for Hire" such as lenses, monitors, computer workstations, etc. Obviously, there is a separate section for RED rental owners.
 
Obviously you like to argue - but you didn't advertise as a camera operator bud - you advertised a Canon C300 for rent in your
Title - and all of that other gear is complimentary to Red cameras so not buying that comparison

Still waiting for links to "5D's on here all the time for rent" or any people advertising renting non red cameras on here
i rent other cameras too by the way - but never advertise them here - that's what DVX user is for :)

It doesn't really matter if you buy it or not, "bud". It's for the mods to decide whether this belongs or not.

If you read the title under the thread it actually says "Post Jobs and buy/sell/trade your non-RED equipment here" and the title say "hire" in the name so why argue in the first place that it shouldnt be permitted in a RED forum if RED put it in in the first place.
