  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Canon 5D music video

Can't say much for the music, but the black and white footage looked good - nice depth of field, and the motion looked fine (as the camera was locked off in most of the shots). But as Tom said over there, the colour was a bit noisy.

The shots do look pretty good. But it's too bad there isn't one moving shot in the entire video. Everything is locked off. Camera movement adds a lot to music videos.

Motion is not a real problem for the 5Dii. People have posted long videos of stuff shot at night, mounted to the handlebars of a moving bicycle, etc. Normal motion is just fine on the camera. That's not where its limitations lie.

I didn't say it was a problem for it. I don't have the camera, so I don't know if it is or not. Don't know if I've seen any clips with faster pans or anything either. I was just saying how the music video itself had no pans or dollies or anything. Kind of makes for a boring video when every single shot is locked off. Everything else about it though was pretty sweet.

Oh, sorry. My bad. I misread what you were getting at.
