Canon 18-80 Red Team and Foolcontrol request

I'm very enthusiastic about the possibilities of the new announced Canon 18-80mm f4 Zoom lens with features ideal for ENG work.

Could this lens be included in the list of lenses supported by the Canon electronic mount AND FoolControl ?!

F4 t4.4 but with new helium sensor probably not much of a drawback

I think 7.5k. Image circle si smaller than canon 50 1000 and it covers 7.5. Just a estimate so I may be wrong

Aaron, so the lens it is not supported? first time someone answers the question ! Let's hope someone in the Red Team acknowledges this lens and integrates it into the new firmware, all the way down to the Red Scarlet-X please!

The camera sees the lens as a Canon 18-80, reports focal length & distance, and powers the servo. Just doesn't support electronic focus or I.S.
