Cannot do Scarlet to Epic MX upgrade?

Hello all, I had a quick question I was wondering if you guys could help me with.

When I go to the Scarlet to Epic upgrade page on the RED website, I notice that it says my Scarlet camera does not qualify for the Epic MX upgrade, but it does qualify for the Epic dragon upgrade. Can anybody tell me why some Scarlet cameras qualify for the Epic MS upgrade but others do not?

The two options are in different places. Choose Scarlet in the store and you will see an option to upgrade to Epic or straight to Epic Dragon. Choose the Scarlet Dragon in the store and you will see your option to upgrade from Scarlet.

Of course, you have to be logged in.

Well when I choose the Epic MX, it says my camera is not eligible. However, when I choose Epic Dragon, it says that my camera IS eligible. So I was wondering if people knew a basic criteria of what makes one Scarlet camera eligible vs another.

Just checked mine under Scarlet-X product section and I can see both EPIC and DRAGON upgrades.

Thanks now I have to think about upgrading again all day here at work

Thats weird though, I wonder why you can do it but I cannot. When did you buy your camera? Maybe you have to have owned it for a certain period of time?

Yeah on that page I have two options, there is the Epic MX upgrade and the Epic Dragon upgrade, but the Epic MX upgrade it says I am not qualified for.

I think the Scarlet to Scarlet Dragon upgrade is something different, probably found elsewhere.

Yes I am. I bought it earlier this month, so I was thinking maybe you have to own it for a while before you can do it, but I am not sure.

I know what you mean, Eric. I already have the box clicked for my Scarlet to Epic-X trade-in and every time I go to the page my finger starts twitching. LOL

Hi all!

Just spoke to RED and turns out it was just a glitch in their system. My camera IS eligible for the Epic MX and Epic Dragon upgrade.
