So, I'd like to cancel my order on RedRay but there appears to be no way to do so from red.com in my cart/customer login profile. Can a bomb squad rep please advise or make the cancellation please?

Thank you.

I think this is something you should be talking to your rep about (or have you tried) before posting it here.

Unless Mike has purchased a camera, he may not have his own rep...RED should make it easy for everyone to order and to cancel products. Going through the Bomb Squad is a great option for camera owners but not necessarily available to all.

All orders through RED, even if you just order a t-shirt, are assigned a rep to fulfill them. Just email or call the rep. I do agree though, they need a more capable online store, better order management and all that stuff.

And I know that Mike has probably been through his share of bomb squad reps, he's been around for some time. :)

It would be great if there was an easy way to cancel the order in the store. I honestly have no clue who my bomb squad rep is at this point since all my transactions have been online purchases.

Mike,

I will have your Rep reach out to you. We are working on some big improvements for the my account section.

I had the online system double charge me before... and it took probably two years to change my e-mail address. Almost missed the Stage 3 upgrade if I wasn't on top of my game...

It was interesting cashing that check from RED.... I liked it.

I am going to cancel my order today as well. Without Odemax it is essentially useless to me and for good reason or not I assume Odemax is defunct. I think they all died at Sundance since that was their last utterance, they were there but they were all sick. Nothing since. I keep looking for an obituary notice but nothing either. Red is no longer talking about Odemax or being in partnership with them.

Mike, any particular reason why you are canceling?

At the time of announcement it seemed like an interesting mastering playback system. However, now that I've had time to digest the specs and overall system it doesn't appear to be anything I feel will be profitable. The whole Odemax thing doesn't inspire too much confidence either for the distribution platform and well, as much as I hate to say it, I feel this like all RED products will be late for delivery and my money will be better spent elswhere. Besides, RedLaser could be interesting and if that has a RedRay built in I may go that route if the projector pans out.

Just a note. I called my bomb squad rep, and his was completely understanding and we agreed to place my order in a don't ship until notified and approval given to charge status. This way I do not lose any place in line but essentially can cancel when they are ready to ship. He emailed me a very personalized response and was quite helpful. First class customer service. My problem is with Odemax, not Red.
