Canadian Forex : Money Transfer to the US

Have you guys used CanadianForex to transfer funds overseas? They operate similar to a wire transfer but charge a lower fee compared to traditional banks.

They're a reputable Australian company that's branched out overseas.

They charge low to no (for amounts over $10k) transfer fees and have competitive exchange rates.

The payment/transfer process is marginally more involved than just paying for something in your local currency and letting your bank deal with the details, but it's not complicated. You just request a quote from them, telling them who and how much you want to pay, then they send you a quote with payment details. You pay them in your local currency and they let you know when they've converted the currency and sent it to the bank account you specified.

I haven't sent money through their Canadian branch, but I've never had any problems using them to transfer money overseas from Aus.

No worries Navin. You might want to sign up/register an account with them before-hand, just to save time in case you do decide to log in and make a transaction with them later on.
