  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Canadian Dollar plummets.

Yes it is good for those that work on and supply American productions that come here to realize savings from lower production costs due to the exchange rate.

For those of us that do Canadian financed productions of whatever sort, inflationary pressures like a declining currency is not a good thing.

Ian, oil did jump 5.3% up today expect Canadian dollar to go the same way.

It's happening the world over...

Silly games are a foot in the US money sector. The world is running away from a collapsing America, naturally then the dollar gets stronger but needs to be lower for exports to grow... US economists are in a tail spin!

Tough times for alot of people out there if this keeps up.

A lot of people around the world were starting to buy US goods... (including me) with the US dollar going up, export slows, economy slows... less international trade, your dept gets higher and higher... Very sad.

Andrew, Yep there was an uptick at closing. Lets see what tomorrow brings.
Just got my email so I'm sending that red money south tomorrow.
Maybe I should wait a day though it could work out to as much as a 64GB SSD ; )

We get paid in U.S. dollars, so my rent just went down as did all my salary costs, hotel costs for artists in from out of town, etc., but not my budgets, which have remained what they were.
 
It's already back up by 3/4 of a cent today. The market will correct itself...this was a freak show of a week and it did cost some.
