Can you merge clips in Redcine-X (Build 346)?

Hi there,

I couldn't find an answer to this anywhere so I'm posting it here: Can you merge several r3d-clips into one r3d-clip? When I'm putting the clips into the timeline and export them in the r3d-trim-format, it creates one new r3d-file for every clip in the timeline rather than one single file. I would appreciate your help a lot.

Hi Daniel,

Yes, that is the correct behavior. Currently you can not merge r3d clips.

David, I was working in Build 262 exporting Quicktime Wrappers on a single .R3D and somehow - don't ask me how - it was split in two. Both parts retain the same file ID#, and ended up in separate folders. It was a long two-minute 3+gb shot. Inexplicable. Is there anyway to merge these two back together as they were originally?

if not, can I rename the .R3D of the second half, and create new proxies for it? - thanks!
