Hi guys,
I'm looking at traveling solution for my kit.
I have the RED battery charger with a couple of bricks.
But sometime when I travel, I just want to take 2 bricks with me. But this charge is soooo bulky.

Question.
Could this charger works on the RED BRICK ?

I don't mind if it takes a longer time, as I would only put a brick to charge at night.

Thank you.

Joris,

I have owned one of these for several years and have used it to charge my Red Bricks when there is no rush. It will take three or four hours to charge a brick. I assume the slower trickle charge is easier on my batteries and will help prolong battery life. I am still running my bricks I bought in 2008

Amazing.
So you would say YES to buy it in order to have a more "compact" solution with no rush, while traveling. Correct ?

Joris,

Yes I would recommend the SWIT charger but as a rule a backup charger is a good idea. Over the years when out of town I have had chargers fail and it can be disastrous if your at a location where you can'y buy broadcast/cinema equipment

I have several of the Swit and love them for travel. I agree they are not fast but most of the dual type chargers only charge one side at a time and are big and bulky.
