Can the SAME cable be used for Original EVF & Red Pro 7" LCD on SCARLET ??

If I am using a Cable to connect our original Red EVF to the Scarlet camera, can I use the same cable to connect the camera to the Red Pro 7" LCD Monitor ? I would only be using one viewing devise at a time, not both together.

In other words, are both the LEMO ports on the Original EVF and the Red Pro LCD Monitor the same?

Just wanting to know if I can use the same cable without any problems or risks to the equipment.

I have EVF/LCD cables that I got for the original EVF on my Red One, and they work fine on my Epic. So I think you'd be fine.

yes - these cables are fully compatible...
just take some care with old/used cables upon first use and make sure there are no bent pins and the connector is not loose (this can happen when the screw of the Lemo-Connector is not tightened well) - other then that -> this should work just fine.

Yep, all the monitor/EVF cables are the same.

Yes, I can confirm that i've observed no performance difference in old cables vs. new cables. My primary cable is the same one I used 4 years ago on my Red One... of course given the history these cables have had I always keep at least one spare on the truck!
