Can someone says if the new canon 24-70 2.8 usm II works perfectly with the Epic ?

Hi.

Just want to know if someone can clearly confirm if everything works perfectly with the new canon 24-70 2.8 II on the epic with canon mount and the last firmware. Especially the AF ?

Because surprisingly, red can't say officially if it is work or not. Please RED if you read that, just put on your top list to test all the new canon lenses the first day they are in stock. It is very important for all people are using the Epic with the canon mount every day.

It's a great lens. It mounts to the Epic. Control of iris is electronic, works. Focus manually works, haven't tried any electronic focus. Not sure what else you need to know, the images I get out of it are great.

Great image, zoom function can never work well as all EF zoom lenses. Changing focus during shot will also cause the image change a bit.
