Found this on Red.com.

Look between the handle and the LCD. Not a Red Part from what I can find.

Can someone identify it?

A regular ball mount. Nebtek has a bunch of these types... however they usually connect by way of a hot-show mount. This one screws into the handle.

Could be useful when you don't need to adjust so much the LCD.

Prague... I don't think it is available in the Red store (yet?). Or could be a third party mount.
