  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Can I get Redlogfilm to hdsdi out?

Or to Program or Preview outputs on the Pro IO. I have a client who wants me to record the output to a Pix240 in Prores422HQ but also have Log to work with instead of a baked in look. I don't see a pathway but it seems it should be possible to assign Redlog to one of these outputs.
Your help is much appreciated.

I not sure if there's a better way of doing it but here's a little messy workaround

You can set the Look A for the camera to be RedLogFilm, wich will be the one that you choose for the SDI output.
Then, you can add a LUT like RedGamma3, 4 or a REC709 and put this into the Look B of the camera and use this look for the LCD monitor.

You have to invert the normal Look order because the Look A does not accept LUTs where the Look B does
