I am not sure if I do something wrong, or if Premier just can not do it..?
I was hoping that I can replace RCX or FCP with Premier, but I can not locate the, for me, most important functions.
In RCX, I put all clips in the Project Window, Color Grade them and export them all as single clips with the file name intact.
In FCP, I put all clips on the timeline, Color Grade them and Batch export all as single clips with the file name intact.
The only way I found in Premier to export with original file name is, when I create for every clip a new sequence.
And then I can only export 1 at the time to Media encoder, but not as a batch.
I am talking about hundreds of clips at the same time.
Did I oversee something...?

You could do this in AME easier than in Premiere Pro. Drop all your files into the queue. Open up the red settings and export the queue.

Premiere Pro does not do this, assuming you're trying to take advantage of Premiere's color effects and not just the RED adjustments. Speedgrade does, however, have this feature. Adobe After Effects is an alternative, while it forces you to use one timeline per clip, you can add all the timelines and set their output far more quickly than Premiere.

So looking at the options, there would be no real advantage to shift to Premier for fast workflow. The problem also is that often I need to trim clips, if I put all in AME, maybe I can color grade but I guess, not trim it.
So for fastest workflow, better stick to RCX I guess. Because I do not need any fancy adjustments, just color grade and trim. Everything else I can do in FCP7.

Possibly RedCineX is good for what you do. AME will do trimming however.

Premiere can do what you want, I do it every day. Put all the clips in the timeline, colour grade how you want, use the grey bar in the timeline to export selection only (this will serve as your trim), queue to AME, click back on timeline, move grey export selection to next clip, CTRL+M (export), set export parameters/file name, selelect add to queue, repeat as necessary. Tip- do it all before you go to bed, wake up next day done.
