Can Atomos Shinobi SDI Control Komodo?

Hi,
Been reading up on all things related to the Komodo for awhile. One thing that I can’t seem to get clarity on: is the camera control feature only available on the SmallHD Focus Pro at this time? I currently already have the Shinobi SDI and hoping I will be able to use the same camera control functionality (obviously will need a control cable). Or perhaps maybe have to wait for a software upgrade?

Nevermind! Upon further observation, it’s clear that the cable is using Komodo’s USB-C port to control the camera which Shinobi does not have any ports to do the same.

Another question though: This review says "It’s a pity that Atomos has only chosen to incorporate 1.5G/3G SDI ports. This means that the monitor can only take an HD signal."

How can it work with the Komodo then? Or am I getting something wrong?

It works with the Komodo. Think you can output a 1080p signal to the monitor. All monitors that size seem to be 1080p
